BERLINARTPROJECTS shows Young Contemporary Art from Berlin and Istanbul. The gallery works with artists such as Yaşam Şaşmazer, Ulrich Riedel, Ismail Necmi, Claudia Vitari, Jörg Lohse, Eda Soylu and Meike Zopf. The range of media shown includes sculpture, installation, painting and photography.

Yaşam Şaşmazer was born in Istanbul in 1980 and studied sculpture at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in Istanbul. She attended various workshops and symposiums on sculpturing. Her works can be found in exhibitions, biennials and collections  in Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Köln, München, Bilbao, Madrid, Rom, Paris, London, New York, Chicago, Istanbul and Dubai. The artist lives and works in Istanbul and Berlin.
