Shoplifter! New Retail Architecture and Brand Spaces
Edited and published by Gestalten Verlag in Berlin, 2018

Shoplifter! explores innovative store concepts and provides expert insights into how brands can engage with their customers in novel ways. Disrupted by online shopping, shops and brands find themselves in a permanent battle over the most innovative store concepts, striking window displays, and genius presentation of goods, to breathe new life into the traditional retail flow.

Gestalten is a publisher and creative agency mostly known for their 600 books on art, architecture, design, photography and typography. The company has staff members through offices in Berlin, London, New York and Tokyo. Gestalten’s books are unique in the industry as all are edited and designed by designers. They typically document and anticipate vital trends in visual culture, the results of which Print Magazine has called “timeless” and “a perfect expression of our time.” With their extensive range of titles, they do not only seek to enhance and to enrich their reader’s lives, but to continually engage with the surrounding creative landscape.
